Delta’s 10,000 gal mobile wildfire support tanks supporting bucketing operations on (K50863) Keremeos incident.
Delta’s tanks are designed to be highly mobile, can even be long-lined via a heavy lift helicopter as they are only 6800 lbs dry weight
Provides quicker, more cost-efficient cycle times for the aircraft by utilizing small creeks and water sources closer to the incident
Shorter flight times for bucketing means substantial cost savings and more gallons per hour on the fire supporting the ground crews
Often utilized by the structure protection crews to increase the efficiency of water being transported by water tenders
10,000 gal (40,000 litres) capacity of our tanks ensure wildfire crews and structure protection personnel always have water
Ground transport from water tenders is more cost effective as they are not sitting idle waiting for space to offload water
