Who We’re Looking For

We’re searching for an energetic, self‑motivated Outside Sales Representative who thrives in the agriculture sector and loves being out in the field. This role is based out of our Lynden branch and focuses on building strong relationships with growers, identifying new opportunities, and representing WaterTec with professionalism and enthusiasm.

What You’ll Do

You’ll work closely with our inside sales team while owning your territory and driving new business. Key responsibilities include:

Identifying and developing new business within Washington’s agriculture and farming communities
Maintaining and expanding a database of prospective and existing customers
Creating an efficient travel schedule to maximize territory coverage
Conducting cold calls, scheduling appointments, and building long‑term relationships
Assisting customers both in person and over the phone
Keeping accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity
Maintaining a clean, organized company vehicle that reflects our brand

What You Bring

Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, pumps, and water movement
Experience in outside sales, ideally in agriculture or a related technical field
Ability to troubleshoot irrigation and pump issues confidently
Proven ability to plan routes, manage schedules, and develop a territory independently
Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanour
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Office
A safety‑focused, detail‑oriented approach to your work
Experience in plumbing, electrical, pump and water systems, agriculture, mining, municipal systems, or septic is a strong asset.
