SEASONAL WAREHOUSE/YARD -IDEAL FOR UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

Delta Water Products in Chilliwack has one (1) full-time, Seasonal position available that is ideal for an enthusiastic University Student who is looking for an outdoor summer position that will be available to them year after year while they go to University. Position is available once your Exams are over and concludes at the start of the school year in September.

Preferred candidates have previous work experience in such areas as customer service, warehouse, labor positions, and or a yard position. Must be physically fit, enjoy greeting customers, work well in a team, and thrive while working in a busy environment.

Forklift experience is a huge asset. Future career opportunities at Delta Water Products for the right individual.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and tidy yard free of debris and packaging materials
• Respond to our radio to pick material orders from the yard and meet the customers
• Accept deliveries from couriers and transport companies
• Store and put stock away in designated locations in the yard and warehouse
• Pick, prepare and load customer orders
• Receiving Stock Orders and Data Entry.
• Checking Inventory Orders
• Restocking of store shelves.
• Assist the warehouse department with various tasks

• Presentable, positive attitude, and willingness to learn
• Attention to detail, strong work ethic, and punctual.
• A willingness to stay busy and help wherever needed
• Experience with basic hand and power tools is required.

Delta offers a higher starting wage with the hopes of finding a keen student who will excel in this position and be eager to come back to Delta season after season till they complete their schooling. This position is for the relief of our full-time staff. Availability through the summer is a must. This position includes Saturday shifts between May 1st and June 30th.
